Example of one of our complete overhauling projects carried out on a fineblanking press of the brand FEINTOOL, model GKP F 100/160.
In this project, a comprehensive refurbishment of the machine was performed, beginning with a full diagnostic evaluation to determine the condition of all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. Our team conducted a detailed inspection of each component, identifying wear, misalignments, and obsolete elements that could affect the performance and safety of the press. Based on this assessment, all critical parts were replaced, including bearings, bushings, seals, hydraulic valves, and structural components that required reconditioning.
The modernization phase included the upgrade of the control systems, integrating new-generation electronics, improved safety modules, and updated operator interfaces. This ensured not only greater precision and repeatability in fineblanking operations but also compliance with current industrial safety standards. Additionally, the hydraulic and lubrication systems were restored to optimal condition, guaranteeing stable pressure control, smoother motion, and reduced energy consumption.
Once the mechanical and electronic restoration was completed, the press underwent a full alignment and calibration process. This included fine-tuning of the ram guidance, adjustment of parallelism, and verification of the cutting parameters to ensure maximum accuracy during production. Performance tests were carried out under load to validate the machine’s behavior and confirm that all systems operated within the required tolerances.
Thanks to this thorough overhauling process, the FEINTOOL GKP F 100/160 press regained its full production capacity, offering improved precision, enhanced safety, and long-term reliability. The refurbishment not only extended the service life of the machine but also provided the customer with a cost‑effective and sustainable alternative to purchasing a new press, ensuring consistent performance for demanding fineblanking applications.
